Me and Jackson, 1987
12 color lithograph, ed: 40
41 x 30
Me and Jackson was printed at Magnolia Editions in Oakland, CA on a Steinmesse and Stollberg flatbed transfer press. A separate overlay for each color was drawn by Robert Arneson; a total of twelve colors were used. The prints were pulled individually, one at a time. The artist then approved, signed and designated each impression. Six of the plates used in this edition were also used in the prints Jackson State I and Jackson State II. The total number of prints in those two states is 23; the image is Jackson Pollack but without Robert Arneson's face.
