Jackson Pollack's Dog was pulled at Magnolia Editions in Oakland, CA on a Steinmesse and Stollberg flat bed transfer press. The prints were pulled individually, one color at a time. After days of drying subsequent layers of ink, additions were made by David Gilhooly printing with a rubber stamp and his thumbprint. The artist then approved, signed and designated each impression.
