This card was modeled after the print Rembrandt and His Wife Saskia, 1636. The portrait Rembrandt is drawing (drawn to resemble Marisha; Don and Era’s daughter) was modeled after the head in the upper right-hand corner of the Rembrandt etching Studies of the Head of Saskia and Others, 1636.
