All or Nothing C.T.P., 1992
hand-colored etching
7 x 5 in.
9 hand-colored trial proofs

Joseph Goldyne’s All or Nothing was pulled at Magnolia Editions in Oakland, CA on an American French Tool etching press. The artist incised a copper etching plate with a scribe through a hard ground which was etched along with the aquatint portion of the plate with ferric chloride. The spit bite portion of the plate was executed by the artist with nitric acid. The plate was hand wiped a la poupée by Cheryl Devereaux. The artist hand-colored many of the 9 Color Trial Proofs with watercolor and may add watercolor to some of the remaining (uncolored) prints at a later date.
