In July of 2013, Donald and Era Farnsworth traveled with Inez Storer and Andrew Romanoff to St. Petersburg, Russia – a city founded by Peter the Great, one of Andrew’s ancestors, some three hundred years ago. The complicated and sometimes contradictory nature of the city inspired the four artists to collaborate on a series of images under the collective moniker “The St. Petersburg Travelers.”
