Eleven Eggs and The Other was printed at Magnolia Editions in Oakland, CA. The image of the box of eggs was photographed and printed on a kodalith with a half-tone contact screen. It was then transferred onto a pre-sensitized photo-copper plate. Fine dots and lines were added through hard ground etching and aquatint etched many times in dutch-mordant acid. After masking the outside of one egg and the bottom of the box with tape, repeated rocking was done to create the black tone. The prints were hand-wiped with a rich black ink and Chinese lettered wood stamps were hand-printed on the inside of each egg.
